Probably the "E" of all E's in our Database Spotlight is the classic Encyclopedia Britannica. Way before Wikipedia, this was THE encyclopedia that people used to look up general information on people, places, and things. If you remember, Britannica published print editions of their encyclopedia in multiple volumes. To even have one entire edition, you would have at least 20-30 of the books in your shelf. Britannica no longer does print editions of their encyclopedia and is now fully online -- with videos, images, and the Meriam-Webster dictionary -- without filling up your bookshelf. As with all of our databases, the Britannica can be accessed using your HCCC credentials.
