Technology in Libraries

During COVID 19

Library technologies are open to HCCC community:

  • Computers (limited capacity; VDI computers or MAC);
  • Printers (library staff will pick up the printouts for you);
  • Scanners (library staff will scan for you);
  • Calculators (limited quantity; first come, first served);
  • 3D Printing (by appointment only).

The library technology team

  • provides in-person and online technical support to all library users and library staff;
  • develops and maintains the library website;
  • manages integrated library system KOHA, access and authentication software EZproxy, SpringShare suite, and other applications used by the libraries;
  • discovers and adopts new technologies in libraries.
