Technology in Libraries

Considering to 3D print, experience VR, podcast, or create? Our library is here for you.

Select a preferred time and fill in your information to request a session with us. An email confirmation will be sent to your provided HCCC email address.

Please arrive on time for your appointment. A library technology associate will be scheduled to meet you in the Makerspace and provide technical support. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

For 3d printing, please send your STL file(s) to library@hccc.edu or bring it in-person. Please make sure the measure is in millimeters.

The library technology team

• provides in-person and online technical support to all library users and library staff;
• develops and maintains the library website;
• manages integrated library system KOHA, EZproxy (database access and authentication software), SpringShare suite, and other applications used by the libraries;
• discovers and adopts new technologies in libraries;
• runs technology-related workshops, like 3D printing, 3D design, Arduino, etc.
