Technology in Libraries

Printing

The Hudson County Community College Libraries provide free printing services for HCCC students.

  • Access to printing is limited to HCCC students.
  • Limit 20 pages per printing job.
  • Paper size is Letter (8.5 x 11 inches). 
  • Printers are shut down 15 minutes before the Libraries close.
  • Library staff on service desk are happy to help if you encounter any printing issue.

  • First floor: 2 Ricoh Black & White printers
  • Second floor: 2 Ricoh Black & White printers

North Hudson Library

  • Main floor: 2 Ricoh Black & White printers

Scanning

The Hudson County Community College Libraries provide free scanning for HCCC students and faculty.

  • Access to Scanners is limited to HCCC students and faculty.
  • Free to scan to your own USB drive, email or OneDrive.
  • Limit 15 minutes per person, if someone else is waiting.
  • Scanners are shut down 15 minutes before the Libraries close.
  • Library staff on service desk are happy to help if you encounter any scanning issue.

 

Scanner Locations

Gabert Library

  • First floor: 3 Epson WorkForce DS-1630 and 1 Plustek OpticBook A300 Plus.
  • Second floor: 2 Epson WorkForce DS-1630.

North Hudson Library

  • Main floor: 3 Epson WorkForce DS-1630 and 1 Plustek OpticBook A300 Plus scanner.

Charging

The Hudson County Community College Libraries provide free Charging services for HCCC students.

  • Charging stations for cell phones and tablets are available on each floor of the Libraries.
  • Some study desks are equipped with power outlets that allow for laptop charging.

North Hudson Library

  • Main floor: Charging station and study desks with power outlets.
