About Prof. Benjamin:
Sharon Benjamin is a distinguished educator with over 40 years of experience spanning from elementary to college levels, specializing in developmental reading, speech, and composition. She made her literary debut in 2003 with her self-published children's book, Jungle Gym, and has since released her latest work, Sharon Benjamin's ABC Book of Poetry: Don't Dare Dance During Dinner.
Prof. Benjamin's diverse writing portfolio includes articles on marriage and family, education, religion, social issues, and life skills. Her career in broadcast journalism commenced in 1992 at WIMG-Radio where she produced and hosted the live call-in show, Let's Talk About It, co-owned with her husband. Prof. Benjamin later joined the New Jersey Network, serving as a news reporter and correspondent for New Jersey Today and Another View.
In Washington D.C., she worked as a policy staffer in the office of Congressman Ed Jones, 8th District, in Tennessee and managed constituent services.
Prof. Benjamin is an engaging speaker and offers workshops and presentations for churches, businesses, corporations, community groups, and school author visits.
