Access for HCCC Students

Study rooms are only available to current HCCC students who are either:

Small groups of students (2 or more).
Individuals taking an online class where they have to speak, who are being interviewed virtually, or who are taking an exam.

Reservations can be made up to 7-days in advance.
Study rooms can only be reserved for 2 hours max per day. You are not allowed to bypass this with multiple reservations within the same group.
To check out your room, come to the service desk on time. At ten (10) minutes past your reservation time, the reservation will be canceled. You will need your HCCC ID with the current semester's sticker to check out your room.
If you need technology, reserve textbooks, or other materials for your time in the study room, remember to check them out before checking out your room.
If you have other needs for the study room that don’t meet the criteria above, if you are looking for exam space but can’t find an open time, or if your exam is longer than 2 hours, please email us.

No food is allowed in the library; drinks with a secure cover are fine.
Remember that the study rooms are not sound-proof.
Give yourself time to pack up so you can leave by the end of your reservation.
Don’t leave your items unattended. HCCC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Rooms left unattended for more than 10 minutes will be assumed to have been returned.

Gather all your belongings and checked out items.
Remember to:
- sign out of the computer.
- return the keyboard and mouse to the table.
- remove any garbage or recycling.
- return the room key to the service desk.
