A digital library that provides more than one million digital images in the arts, architecture, humanities, and sciences with an accessible suite of software tools for teaching and research. Images can be organized into groups, exported as PowerPoint presentations, and shared with others.

Provides links to art images on the Web. The site is searchable by artist, work, and museum and
browsable by subject, medium, or nationality. It includes information about art movements with
examples of relevant artworks and a section on women artists. The site was created and is maintained
by John Maylon.
Forty countries have contributed more than 40,000 high-resolution images of works ranging from oil on canvas to sculpture and furniture. Some paintings are available in ‘gigapixel’ format, allowing you to zoom in at brushstroke level to examine incredible detail.
