Overdrive and Libby User Guide

Android and iPhone Setup

1. Install the Libby app from your device's app store.

Or, visit libbyapp.com in your Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge browser.

2. Open the app for the first time and you'll see this menu. Tap on I'll Search For A Library.

 3. Follow the prompts to find your library and sign in.

You can search for your library by name or branch location. Hudson County Community College is typed on the box and is shown in Matching Libraries.

 4. Sign in with your HCCC email and password.

Borrow

1. Click on a book you want to borrow.

2. Click the "Borrow" button.

3. Enjoy the book.

Return

1. Click on "Loans" and Go to the book you'd like to return.

2. Click "Manage Loan".

3. Click on the "Return" button.

4. And you should get a confirmation.

Hold

1. Find a book you want to put a hold on and click "Place Hold".

2. Click the "Place hold" button.

3. You should get a hold confirmation.
