Overdrive and Libby User Guide

1. Navigate to Overdrive and hover over the Sign in button.

Navigate to  https://hccc.overdrive.com/ in your web browser.

and click on the sign-in button. 

2.  Click sign in once more.

3. Click the login button. Be sure to use your HCCC username and password.

1. Click on a book you want to borrow.

2. Click the borrow button.

3. Select the amount of time you want to borrow the book for and then click borrow.

1. Click on the loan icon.

2. Go to the book you'd like to return and Click the Return icon.

3. Click on the return title button.

1. Click on a book you want to place a hold on.

2. Click on the Hold button.

3. Enter your HCCC email and click the hold button.

4. You should get a confirmation and some other books you might like.

you should also get a confirmation email when the requested book is returned. You can go to your account - Hold to borrow that book.

You can search overdrive for a title and if currently not owned by overdrive you proceed to recommend it.

1. Click on a book you want to Recommend.

2. Click on the Recommend button.

3. Enter your HCCC email and click the recommend button.

4. You should get a confirmation and some other books you might like.
