Ticket to Culture: Museum Passes

Policy

In order to utilize the Museum Passes, you must:

  • Be a current HCCC student, faculty, or staff member.
    • Alumni and community members are not allowed to utilize these passes. Please see what privileges are afforded to alumni and community members.
  • Have an account that is in good standing, free of fines, and current.
  • Create a reservation to utilize the pass. Walk-ins are not accepted.
    • Reservations can be made online.
  • Return the pass within 2 days of borrowing.
    • Reservations begin at 9am and must be returned by 9am on the due date.
      • For example, a pass must be picked up at 9am on Tuesday and then returned by 9am on Thursday.
      • If the pass is picked up later than 9am, it must still be returned by 9am on the due date so that the next user can check out the pass.
  • Late fees will incur after 1 day of the pass being overdue. It is $1 per day.
    • Incurring a late fee will restrict further reservations from being made until the fines have been paid.
  • Lost passes will incur a bill up to the amount of the annual fee of the pass.
  • Return the pass to the circulation desk. Passes are not to be returned in the book drop.
    • If a pass is returned in the book drop and cannot be found as a result, the borrower is liable for the late fee and/or lost fee.
    • The pass must be returned to the library it was checked out from.

Users are allowed two reservations per month. Attempting to circumvent this policy may lead to a temporary suspension of reserving passes.

Procedure
