Using Library Resources in Canvas

This guide details how to use and embed library resources in Canvas so that students can access the content you have chosen.

How many people can use an eBook?

  • Many of our eBooks have a limited number of simultaneous users.
  • Sometimes just a single user can log in (using their HCCC login) at one time.
  • Keep this in mind when planning readings and assignments involving eBooks.
  • Contact the library if your students will need access at the same time. In some cases, we may be able to increase access to a title.
  • See the "How to add EBSCO eBooks" and "How to add Gale eBooks" pages for more information.
