HCCC Library uses the Ricoh MP7503 printer for student, staff, and faculty use on the Library floors. There are two located on the first and second floor of the Gabert Library and two in the NHC Library. This is a guide for basic troubleshooting and maintenance of the printers. For any advanced troubleshooting that cannot be done, please consult a Library tech associate or send a Track-It to HCCC's ITS department at itshelp@hccc.edu. Please describe the issue and error code if applicable.

PaperCut

Limit: 20 pages per printing job.

Add papers

We can add paper without interrupting the printing jobs.

1. Open the Tray 1, you will see two stacks of papers - left and right.

Add Paper to printer

Push the right stack back right away, if it's not empty. In this way, the printer can continue to print while you're adding papers to the left stack.

Add paper to the left stack and push the right stack in the back

2. Add blank printing papers to the left stack. The printer will automatically move papers from the left stack to the right stack later.

Please make sure that papers are loaded within the maximum line. It is advisable that the tray is only filled halfway through to prevent jams. See red line indicator.
