After login, you'll see the unanswered tickets in the LibAnswers Dashboard page.

Open the link above and log in LibApps to watch.

Answer a ticket

1. Claim a ticket.

You can claim a ticket if there is no owner yet. Tickets with no owner will show up with the owner like this.

Simply click the question link, and you'll see a confirmation like this on the top of the webpage.

2. Answer a ticket.

After reading the ticket, roll down to the text box under the tab "Create a Reply" and type in the answer to the ticket.

3. Close a ticket.

Double check your answer. If you're ready to submit, click the button .

4. Reuse Answers.

 

5. Publish the ticket to FAQ (optional).

Before closing a ticket, you have the option to publish the ticket to FAQs. It's ONLY for questions that are frequently asked and answered.

Once it's published to FAQs, the question and answer will show up in the public view of LibAnswers. Please make sure that you've removed any personal information from the entry, such as the student's name, email address, etc.

Whey you're ready to publish, just click the drop down menu next to "add to FAQ Group", and select a FAQ group you would like to publish.

Assign or Transfer a ticket

1. Click the tabAssign/Transfer Ticket.

2. From the drop-down menu "select the user to own this ticket", select the person you're transferring the ticket to.
