SMART Board by SMART Technologies, Inc is an interactive white board that users can write on using their fingers or the included stylus. The whiteboard does deceive many to think it's a regular whiteboard anyone can write on with a marker but it isn't. It doubles as a monitor for computer connection and can be used as such even without downloading the SMART Technologies software. The software contains a program that can be used to write notes just like writing on a whiteboard and create slides for interactive use.
Gabert Library has two SMART Boards, one in the Makerspace (L116) and group study room L219.
The SMART Board is attached to the wall with two speakers on either side of it. Located beneath are proprietary connections and RCA connections.
